I began painting in 2018 as a way to cope with anxiety, depression, and panic attacks, exploring multiple mediums before settling into acrylic for its fast drying time and painterly texture.
In 2020, I shifted into digital art, drawn to its flexibility and ease during college life. Though convenient, I spent years developing a technique that allowed my digital work to retain the textured, painterly quality I love. Today, I work primarily on my iPad, often incorporating acrylic brushstrokes into embellished canvas prints.
My art has grown alongside me, becoming a way to process joy, sorrow, and everything in between. At twenty-seven, I believe life can be both beautiful and messy, and that balance is what I aim to reflect in my work.
